En Argentina se le reconoce como el \u201cPadre de la Patria\u201d. En Per\u00fa, se lo recuerda libertador de aquel pa\u00eds, con los t\u00edtulos de \u201cFundador de la Libertad del Per\u00fa\u201d, \u201cFundador de la Rep\u00fablica\u201d y \u201cGeneral\u00edsimo de las Armas\u201d. En Chile su ej\u00e9rcito lo ha destacado con el grado de Capit\u00e1n General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/infoecos.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/gral-san-martin_550_750.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-110030\" width=\"450\" height=\"312\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su gesta libertadora, San Mart\u00edn es una pieza fundamental en la construcci\u00f3n de nuestra identidad nacional<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A partir de su c\u00e9lebre figura y heroico proceder, se construye esa gran narraci\u00f3n que nos explica como pa\u00eds. Por eso, rememorar su vida a partir de un nuevo aniversario de su muerte es recordar ese relato que escuchamos en los actos escolares de nuestra infancia, esa gran narraci\u00f3n que nos conform\u00f3 como comunidad y que debemos pensar y reconsiderar en nuestro camino hacia una patria justa, libre y soberana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traemos un breve relato de Bartolom\u00e9 Mitre en el aniversario de la muerte del pr\u00f3cer, a\u00f1o 1950:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cLos hombres de acci\u00f3n o de pensamiento que, como San Mart\u00edn, realizan grandes cosas son almas apasionadas que elevan sus pasiones a la potencia del genio y las convierten en fuerzas para obrar sobre los acontecimientos, dirigirlos o servirlos.
