Funcionarios y referentes sociales coincidieron en que \u201cla situaci\u00f3n de la pobreza en Argentina es muy grave\u201d y destacaron que la ayuda del Estado fue determinante para que no sea m\u00e1s alta, luego de conocerse que el \u00edndice confeccionado por el Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica y Censos (Indec) se ubic\u00f3 en 40,9% al cierre del primer semestre.

El ministro de Desarrollo Social, Daniel Arroyo<\/strong>, consider\u00f3 que \u201csin ayuda estatal, el \u00edndice hubiese sido mucho m\u00e1s alto\u201d<\/a>y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u201chay que rescatar a los que cayeron en la pobreza a trav\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3n de empleo; tambi\u00e9n urbanizando los 4 mil barrios donde viven 4 millones de argentinos, ya que ah\u00ed hay un gran plan de trabajo en ciernes\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para el ministro, hay \u201ctres realidades distintas a resolver: la pobreza estructural, la nueva pobreza que gener\u00f3 la pandemia y la pobreza en la infancia, que alcanza al 56% de ni\u00f1os menores de 14 a\u00f1os; este es el dato m\u00e1s duro de la Argentina\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En declaraciones a El Destape Radio, Arroyo prioriz\u00f3 \u201cencarar nuevas pol\u00edticas para recuperar a los ca\u00eddos en la pobreza a partir del coronavirus\u201d y dijo que en el resto de su gesti\u00f3n pondr\u00e1 el foco en que \u201ctodos los chicos asistan al jard\u00edn y a la escuela\u201d, para lo cual \u201cgeneramos recursos para la construcci\u00f3n de 800 jardines\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Indec inform\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles que el \u00edndice de pobreza se ubic\u00f3 en 40,9% al cierre del primer semestre, con un incremento de 5,5 puntos porcentuales respecto al 35,4% de igual per\u00edodo de 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
