El presidente de Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura, Alexis Guerrera, asumir\u00e1 como nuevo ministro de Transporte, en reemplazo del fallecido Mario Meoni, informaron fuentes oficiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guerrera fue intendente del partido bonaerense General Pinto entre 2003 y 2019, y a fines del a\u00f1o pasado asumi\u00f3 en el sector de obras ferroviarias de Trenes Argentinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su gesti\u00f3n al frente de Infraestructura, Guerrera llev\u00f3 adelante obras en el marco del plan de modernizaci\u00f3n del transporte que dise\u00f1\u00f3 junto a Meoni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esas obras incluyeron la federalizaci\u00f3n de las obras, con pasos bajo nivel, recuperaci\u00f3n de las v\u00edas del ferrocarril Belgrano Norte y el tren universitario de La Plata, entre otras. Adem\u00e1s, en la gesti\u00f3n apuntaron a bajar el costo en la log\u00edstica y ganar en seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura es una Sociedad del Estado argentino creada en 2008 por la Ley 26.352, cuyo objeto es el reordenamiento de la actividad ferroviaria del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integra Trenes Argentinos junto a otras empresas estatales del sector ferroviario, como Operadora Ferroviaria, Belgrano Cargas y Log\u00edstica y Desarrollo del Capital Humano Ferroviario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su recorrida pol\u00edtica, a los 25 a\u00f1os Guerrera estuvo al frente de la Juventud Peronista en Pinto, a los 28 a\u00f1os fue candidato, en 2001 fue concejal y desde 2003 hasta 2019 fue intendente durante cuatro per\u00edodos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su trabajo como intendente logr\u00f3 el 100 por ciento de cobertura de agua y de la red cloacal, e instal\u00f3 el alumbrado p\u00fablico led.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinculado al \u00abMassismo\u00bb, Guerrera fue junto a Meoni miembro de la liga de intendentes que constituyeron el Frente Renovador, adonde oficializ\u00f3 su pase en 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2019 accedi\u00f3 a una banca como diputado provincial por la cuarta secci\u00f3n electoral, por el Frente de Todos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El 22 de diciembre de 2020 dej\u00f3 su banca, con licencia extraordinaria, para incorporarse al gabinete nacional como presidente de Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura, en reemplazo de Ricardo Lissalde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
