Una avenida del barrio porte\u00f1o de Saavedra lleva su nombre, al igual que la tribuna popular del estadio Ciudad de Vicente L\u00f3pez, del Club Atl\u00e9tico Platense, del que el artista era hincha fan\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apodado \u00abEl Polaco\u00bb por su cabellera clara, fue un precoz habitu\u00e9 de los caf\u00e9s y de los\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cabar%C3%A9\">cabar\u00e9s<\/a>\u00a0que dieron lugar y refugio a artistas y devotos de la generaci\u00f3n de 1940. Antes de iniciar su destacada trayectoria como cantor, trabaj\u00f3 como chofer de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Colectivos_de_Buenos_Aires\">colectivos<\/a>\u00a0de la l\u00ednea 19 (Micro \u00d3mnibus Saavedra S.
